2nd Trimester 1-to-1
You may have started to see small changes or even big changes in your body up to this point. The second trimester can often be the time in your pregnancy when you feel more energetic, less sickly and motivated.
In this assessment a detailed history of your pregnancy (including any previous pregnancies) and activity levels will be taken.
As every pregnant body responds differently to the growing demands of creating another human being, you will be individually assessed for postural changes, breathing patterns, core strength and how you are moving.
Management and advice of conditions such as pelvic girdle pain, Diastasis Recti and incontinence will be given.
You will also be taught how to effectively use your pelvic floor muscles in day to day life, making sure that they strengthen as well as relax at the appropriate times.
